SHOW TIMES & TICKETS 🎭

When are your shows?

We're open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. TYPICALLY, our bar normally opens around 7pm and shows start at 8PM (unless stated otherwise on the event page).

How do I get tickets?

Head to the 'What's On?' section at the top of our website - you'll find all of our upcoming shows there. Pick your show, select your tickets, and you're good to go!

Can I buy tickets on the door?

If there are tickets left, absolutely! Though booking ahead means you won't have that awkward moment of turning up to find we're full.

Why the ticket limit?

We're a cozy little venue and experience has taught us that one massive group can sometimes overwhelm the room. If you've got a larger party, drop us an email at hello@jestersofbath.com - we'll sort something out!

FOOD & DRINKS 🍺

What's available at the bar?

We've got a stocked bar downstairs, plus you can grab drinks from The Assembly Inn upstairs. Whatever takes your fancy!

Do you serve food?

We keep it simple with bar snacks - think bacon fries and scampi fries (aka British tapas). For proper food, there are loads of great spots nearby.

Any good places to eat nearby?

Dos Dedos just around the corner does amazing Mexican food and cocktails. Milsom Street's also packed with options - you definitely won't go hungry!

Can I bring my own drinks?

Afraid not! We need to keep the lights on (and the comedians paid). If you're watching the pennies, why not grab something to eat or drink before you arrive.

Where are you exactly?

We're at 17 Alfred Street, BA1 2QU. Look for The Assembly Inn - we're the basement bar underneath. Coming from town? Head up Bartlett Street. Coming from The Royal Crescent? Walk towards The Circus, down Bennett Street, and along Saville Row.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

We wish it was! Unfortunately, being in a cellar means we've got stairs to contend with. If you have any access requirements, email us at hello@jestersofbath.com and we'll do our best to help.

How do I perform here?

Drop us an email at hello@jestersofbath.com and we'll send you our sign-up link. We use Confirmed for bookings - it's quick and easy to set up.

What nights can I try new material?

Our Wednesday Open Mic shows are perfect for new material and new acts. There's also 'Big Squash Comedy' at The Saracens Head on the same night if you're keen for more stage time.

Do you run any workshops?

Yes! We regularly host writing sessions and workshops with professional comedians. Keep an eye on our What's On page for upcoming dates.
