Free Comedy Commentary on the World Cup at The Jesters

Two comedians, one football match, and no qualifications between them. Sam Saffron and Ollie Young are testing a new live commentary format at The Jesters, talking over the World Cup as it happens to find out whether a lopsided group game can be rescued by people who have no business near a microphone during sport.

Germany versus Curaçao is the fixture. On paper it might not be a classic, which is rather the point. Expect tangents, dreadful punditry, and the occasional accurate observation purely by accident. Free entry, 50 seats, first come first served. Bath's funniest basement, now with added offside.

Bath comedy, done properly.
