Michael Shafar: Inappropriate

Edgy. Dark. Hilarious. Michael Shafar brings his acclaimed stand-up hour Inappropriate to The Jesters Comedy Club in Bath. An unfiltered, unapologetic show that wades straight into the topics most comedians have the sense to leave well alone.

Since relocating from Australia to the UK, Shafar has become one of the most talked-about new voices on the British circuit. He's opened for Jim Jefferies and Sammy Obeid, racked up over 210,000 followers and 150 million views online, and built a reputation for finding the funny in subjects nobody else will touch.

"Circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse." ★★★★½ The Age

"A disarmingly relaxed approach and an intelligent sense of humour with a wildly inventive, darkly comic imagination." ★★★★★ The Edinburgh Reporter

"If you're among those who fear comedy has gotten too politically correct, this show will put those fears to rest." ★★★★ Time Out
