Paul Hilleard is the 2024 BBC New Comedy Award winner! A prestigious competition that has previously launched the careers of Peter Kay, Sarah Millican, Alan Carr and Lee Mack. His low-key Welsh persona and offbeat observations paint a vivid picture of working-class life in his native Pontypridd — dry, surreal, and genuinely unlike anything else on the circuit right now. This is a rare chance to see him working on new material in an intimate 50-seat room.

Joe Riley is a Devon-raised comedian with a talent for stories that shouldn't be true and jokes that shouldn't make sense — but somehow do both at once. Chortle described his work as "interesting, evocative and distinctive." He'll confuse you, entertain you, and probably leave you wondering what just happened.
