Burt Williamson: 30, Burty and Thriving

Turning 30 comes with a reckoning. For Burt Williamson, that reckoning included a year of genetic testing to find out whether he carries the gene for motor neurone disease. 30, Burty and Thriving is what came out the other side: an hour about getting older, staring down your own mortality, and somehow still finding it funny.

The show played this year's Edinburgh Fringe at the Voodoo Rooms, and Burt was one of the comedians picked out by Fest Magazine in their Fringe coverage on turning 30. Now he's bringing it to Bath for one night only, ahead of a longer run.
