Scottish comedian Lynsey Smart is a chaos potato and magnet for the ridiculous. She flip flops between silly stories and seizing every chance for a dad joke. "Great stage presence, and really strong writing." - Nick P Page "Hilariously captivating! Amusing storytelling intertwined with killer gags." - Wessex Comedy "Lynsey puts the audience at ease as they delight in her whimsy." - Comedy Loft Experience

I performed casually from 2012 - 2017, then returned more seriously in 2023. Since 2023 I've done just over 150 gigs, and about 200 total. I am breaking into paid work, including paid weekend work in Bristol, Bath and London. Most of my paid experience is as a middle, but I'm being asked to do paid opening and MCing more often. I very occasionally headline at smaller gigs. I am comfortable up to 25 minutes. Notable venues: Bristol - The Room Above, The Comedy Cabaret (Pryzm), Chops; Bath Komedia (big and small stages), Jesters; Exeter Locally Sourced; The Stand (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle); Edinburgh Fringe venues Assembly Hall and BBC@Potterrow; The Raven at Towerbridge, London; Camden People's Theatre, London.
