Alex Franklin

Sometimes musical, sometimes stand-up, sometimes scuttling. As seen/ heard on Channel 4/ BBC R4.

Alex is a trans, half-Chinese, super funny comedian, who does stand-up, musical comedy, overly intricate diagrams, and scuttling around on the ground. In 2024 she brought her Brighton Fringe Comedy Award nominated show ‘Gurl Code’ to Edinburgh, a show about trans joy and delivering furniture via London Underground, and people lapped it up (★★★★★ The Wee Review ‘Deeply affecting and incredibly funny’). Alex has also somehow been allowed to appear on BBC Radio 4, Channel 4, HBO Max, and BBC1 (for silly reasons), and has amassed 20 million views on Tiktok and Instagram.
