Writers Room: The Comedy Writing Drop In Centre

Bath's bi-monthly comedy writing workshop, a drop-in space for anyone trying to turn half an idea into an actual joke. Writers Room is relaxed and collaborative, whether you're a working stand-up sharpening a new bit, a first-time comic working out how jokes are built, or someone who just likes writing funny things and has never been near a stage. Jesters regulars and experienced performers drop in to offer feedback and steer things along, but nobody's marking your homework.

Sessions run before our weekly Open Mic, which means whatever you write can go straight on stage the same night if you're brave enough, or you can hang back, watch, and take notes for next time.
