Thursday Night Laughs is the same room, the same standard of acts and the same MC who talks too much, for a bit less money. The Jesters runs comedy five nights a week and Thursday is the one where you get the full experience without paying the weekend price.
Fifty seats, a low ceiling and a stage close enough that heckling is a genuine risk to your own safety. Expect a proper line-up of touring and up-and-coming comedians in the basement that picked up Performing Arts & Music at the Creative Bath Awards. Whether you are easing into the weekend early or just after a Thursday that beats the telly, the ticket costs less and the night doesn't.
